but do not have any stones, they are
earrings of moderate weight, for day-to-day wear. The earrings in this
category have stems, which are threaded to fit, the screw backs. The stem
thickness varies so please check the thickness of the stem given in
millimeters in the descriptions.
Precious stone
earrings:
This sub-category, has Gold earrings which are 22k gold,
but do have precious stones like emerald, ruby and sapphire, embedded in them
to enhance the appearance. These are earrings of moderate weight, they have
threaded stems and are fitted with screw backs, please check the individual
product descriptions for the thickness of the stem of these earrings. Some of
these do have thicker than average earrings stems. The precious stones used
for these category, are of average quality, they do have inclusions in the
stones, which are present in most natural stones, although the inclusions in
some cases may look like tiny cracks, within the stones they are not cracks,
just inclusions.
Stone earrings:
This sub-category has Gold earrings which are embedded
with semi-precious stones like coral, jade, pearl, garnet, which are natural,
as well as some embedded with black, white or colored crystals which may be
lab created. These are of moderate weight; most of these have stems or posts with screw backs.
Gold Jumkie
earrings:
This sub-category has Gold earrings, which have dangling
domes, more like chandelier style earrings, these are also called Gold
Jumkies or Jumka. These are more fancy then average, and more suitable for
occasional wear, some of these are above moderate weight, and also larger
than average earrings, please check the weights on the individual product
descriptions, most of the Jumkie gold earrings are made in plain yellow 22k
gold, but some are embedded with stones, pearls or black crystals. In some of
the Jumkie earrings, the top is detachable, so that the top stud earrings can
be worn individually without the heavier dangling portion of the earrings. If
the dangling portion is removable, it will be mentioned in the product
description.
Gold Huggies:
This sub-category has Gold earrings, which are called
Huggie earrings; they fit snugly around the earlobe. These generally have
much thinner stems then other category of earrings, are usually lighter in
weight and much quicker to wear. These can be worn on a regular basis. These
are also referred to as, pierced clip on earrings, they just snap and lock in
place when pierced through the earlobe and pressed together around the ear
lobe. Please note that all of these do require the ear to be pierced, the
stem portion has to be inserted through the earlobe.
Gold Hoops:
This sub-category has Gold earrings, which are called Hoop
earrings; these are available in many different sizes, some just half and
inch in diameter and some nearly three inches in diameter. Some of these have
dangling portions in the form of charms, gold beads or tiny dangling domes,
similar to Jumkie earrings in one of the sub-category mentioned above. The
hoop earrings have some of the finest stem or wire that goes through the

Large earrings:
This sub-category contains Gold earrings, which as the name
suggest are larger than normal, these are mostly longer in length, heavier in
weight, are ornate in their look, occasional worn for festive occasions.
Although they do resemble many of the e above sub-categories, the only
difference is that they are larger, then the average Gold earrings. They
include large chandelier earrings, Hook style earrings, large dangling hoops,

This sub-category contains Gold earrings, which are
smaller than average, they are available in all styles, including studs,
hoops, tiny chandeliers and hooks
Diamond earrings
This sub-category under the Diamond Jewelry consists of
all 18k Gold earrings embedded with diamonds. Diamond
Jewelry is made in 18k gold as it
contains more alloys and so is more hard compared to 22k gold, the hardness
in the metal keeps the diamonds more secure, when are set in the metal. |
